Dr. Andrea Foley
Dentist
Dr. Andrea Foley began her academic journey at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 2002. She then pursued her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, graduating in 2005. Driven by a vision for exceptional patient care, Dr. Foley founded Foley Dental Group, LLC in 2009. Her dedication to the field is reflected in her active memberships with several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Oral Systemic Health, and American Academy of Clear Aligners. Dr. Foley is committed to fostering a culture of Complete Health within her team and among her patients. She continuously advances her restorative skills and stays at the forefront of dental technology, having invested hundreds of hours in continuing education. Passionate about delivering excellent care, Dr. Foley strives to help every patient achieve a healthy, attractive smile they deserve. Dr. Foley has been repeatedly featured in St. Louis Magazine as a Top Dentist and recognized for her excellence in dentistry. In her free time, Dr. Foley stays busy being a mom to her daughter Sophia and loves to travel, listen to live music, and enjoy great food with her family and friends.
Dr. Katie Kosten
Dentist
Dr. Kosten is a native of southern Illinois and graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Biological Sciences from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2002. After graduation, she became a high school chemistry teacher and coach at Edwardsville High School. Knowing she still had a desire to pursue a career in healthcare, Dr. Kosten returned to dental school and graduated summa cum laude with her DMD degree from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 2009. Early in her career, Dr. Kosten served as the Dental Director for a non-profit pediatric dental clinic while continuing to treat patients in private general practice. In 2016, she returned to SIU School of Dental Medicine as faculty, where she currently serves as the Director of Community Dentistry and Clinical Assistant Professor. Most recently, Dr. Kosten committed to furthering her knowledge in the area of nutrition and complete health by enrolling in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She will graduate as a Certified Health Coach. Dr. Kosten is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and is a past-president of the Madison District Dental Society. She has served on the ADA’s Council on Advocacy for Access and Prevention. She is a member of the honorary dental fraternity Omicron Kappa Upsilon and was the recipient of the Illinois State Dental Society's 2017 William J. Greek Memorial Leadership Award. Dr. Kosten has been selected as a fellow of the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Kosten has been repeatedly featured in St. Louis Magazine as a Top Dentist and recognized for her excellence in dentistry. Dr. Kosten is a wife, mom to three boys, and enjoys all the craziness and wonder that comes with it. In her free time, she loves fitness, officiating basketball, and anything that gets her out into nature.
Dr. Jocelyn Freeman
Dentist
Dr. Jocelyn Freeman is a dedicated and compassionate dentist with a profound commitment to patient health and well- being. She developed a passion for the sciences and a desire to help others at an early age. While working as a dental assistant in college, she discovered that dentistry allowed her to utilize both of these characteristics. A Metro-East native, Dr. Freeman graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a Bachelor of Science and a minor in Chemistry. Having earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 2006, Dr. Freeman has continually expanded her expertise through ongoing education. Dr. Freeman joined Foley Dental Group in 2012, where she collaborates with an amazing team and her patients, whom she has come to think of as family. With a comprehensive approach to dental care, she ensures that each patient receives individualized treatment integrating the latest technologies and materials to provide the highest quality of care. Her philosophy revolves around complete health of the patient, recognizing that oral health is intricately linked to the whole body and overall well-being. Dr. Freeman’s professional affiliations included memberships in the American Dental Association, Illinois Dental Society, Madison District Dental Society, the Greater St. Louis Dental Society, and the Alumni Association of Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, where she most recently served as president. Dr. Freeman has been repeatedly featured in St. Louis Magazine as a Top Dentist and recognized for her excellence in dentistry. Outside of the office, Dr. Freeman enjoys focusing on her own health and fitness and watching her three children in their sports and activities. She loves to travel with her husband, Ryan and take walks with her dog, Clover, to maintain a balanced and fulfilling life.
Dr. Morgan Emery
Dentist
Dr. Morgan Emery grew up in in her father’s dental office in St. Louis, Missouri and attended college at the University of Missouri – Columbia, receiving her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology in 2008 with Summa Cum Laude honors. From there, she went on to dental school at the University of Missouri – Kansas City where she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2012 at age 23. She spent a year in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at SIU School of Dental Medicine where she gained more experience in treating children, digital dentistry, and more complex dental cases. Dr. Emery worked full-time in private practice with her father in St. Louis for five years before transitioning to becoming a Clinic Team Leader and teaching full-time at SIU School of Dental Medicine in 2017. She then joined Foley Dental Group in 2020. Dr. Emery is now the Director of Clinical Education at SIU SDM and specializes in teaching dental students how to digitally design and fabricate crowns and bridges. Dr. Emery has been featured in St. Louis Magazine as a Top Dentist and recognized for her excellence in dentistry for the past seven years. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, Greater St. Louis Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Education Association. Dr. Emery is passionate about overall health, the mouth-body connection, and continuing education. She strives to make all patients feel comfortable in the dental chair and like they are part of the family. Dr. Emery lives in Bridgeton, Missouri with her husband, Christopher, their son, and their three dogs. Dr. Emery enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Mohamed Omran
Periodontist
In 2009, Dr. Omran was selected for the Periodontal program and began his training at Saint Louis University Center for Advanced Dental Education. During his residency, he gained extensive experience in treating periodontal disease, soft tissue grafting, and dental implant therapy, including full arch dental implant treatments. After completing his residency, he pursued an implant fellowship at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Omran is board-certified in periodontics and dental implants. He contributes to education as a periodontist, professor, and as the Director of the Implant Fellowship at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Katie Hanser
Dentist
Dr. Katie Hanser is a graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. After dental school, she pursued advanced training, completing a 1-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program followed by a 2-year Implant Fellowship, earning certificates in both. Currently, Dr. Hanser is a full-time assistant professor in the Department of Surgical Services and Community Care at SIU School of Dental Medicine. She serves as the Director of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program and is the Section Head of Implantology. Dr. Hanser is deeply committed to organized dentistry. She has held several leadership roles, including past president and current treasurer for the Madison District Dental Society. She also holds membership and contributes to various committees within the Illinois State Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the International Team for Implantology. Dr. Hanser's passion lies in restoring smiles, with a particular focus on dental implants. She views a confident smile is as vital as any limb, recognizing its significance in improving patients' lives. Dr. Hanser believes in a personalized approach, tailoring each treatment plan to meet the unique needs of her patients, rejecting the notion that "one size fits all." Outside of her professional endeavors, Dr. Hanser loves to travel, especially to national parks, and enjoys reading. She treasures her time with family, her husband, and her dog.
